How to apply.
Six steps, start to finish. A decision is shared within five business days after the assessment. Applications are accepted year-round, Pre‑K through Grade 12, subject to availability.
The six steps
Inquiry and campus tour
The process begins with a conversation. Submit an inquiry through our website or contact the admissions office directly. We will invite your family for a campus tour: a guided visit that typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes and includes a meeting with our admissions coordinator, a walkthrough of the campus, and a brief observation in a classroom if scheduling permits.
Submit the application form
Complete the online application form for each child applying. The form collects family contact information, the student's current school, grade level sought, and emergency contact details. Applications may be submitted at any time; we accept rolling admissions throughout the year, subject to space availability.
Provide supporting documents
Along with the application, we require: copies of the student's most recent two years of school reports; a copy of the student's birth certificate or passport ID page; and, for students in Grade 6 and above, a brief teacher recommendation from the current school. Additional records (IEPs, learning assessments, health plans) should be shared at this stage if applicable.
Student assessment
All tentatively accepted applicants, including Pre-K and Kindergarten, complete an admissions assessment scheduled by AISJ. The Admissions Committee uses the assessment and submitted records to support placement.
Admissions decision and offer letter
A written decision is shared within five business days after the assessment. If an offer is made, it includes the grade placement, tuition details for the upcoming academic year, and a registration deadline. AISJ reserves the right to decline applications where the school's program cannot adequately serve the student's needs; we explain our reasoning clearly in such cases.
Registration and enrollment
To confirm a place, families return the signed offer letter, pay the non-refundable registration fee, and complete the health and emergency contact forms. Enrolled students receive a welcome pack with uniform guidance, the academic calendar, and details on orientation day. New student orientation takes place in August, before the first day of school.
Saudi Ministry of Education (MOE) requirements
Arabic language arts and Islamic studies are offered in compliance with Saudi Ministry of Education requirements. Admissions will confirm the current requirements for your child's situation.
Transfer documents
The two most recent years of school reports, a birth certificate or passport ID page, and, for Grade 6 and above, a teacher recommendation. Admissions will confirm whether any further documents apply.
Age and grade placement
Age eligibility follows the school-year cutoff used by AISJ admissions, and the Admissions Committee uses the assessment and submitted records to support placement. Please confirm the current cutoff with the admissions office before applying.
Availability and seat confirmation
Spaces may be limited for some grades, and applicants who apply after a grade level reaches capacity are placed on a waitlist. A place is confirmed when the signed offer letter and registration fee are received.
