We don't ask students to simulate research. We ask them to do it. The difference shows up in universities, in interviews, and in the way they talk about hard problems for the rest of their lives.

A week in the Lab

Students work on laptops at a shared library table while a classmate walks past the projection screen behind them.

Tuesday session.

The cohort meets Tuesday mornings in the Lab. No lecture, no slideshow: a shared notebook on the screen, a question from last week still unanswered, and thirty minutes of structured argument. The faculty advisor sits at the edge. Students run the session.

Prototype review.

By March, the AI cohort is in iteration three of their classroom writing-ethics tool. They demo to a panel of English teachers, and refine their work in response to the feedback. Two students rewrite the methodology section that evening.
