Safe and easy to navigate

The campus is contained, legible, and safe. Families arriving for the first time often remark on its clarity: there is a clear separation between vehicular drop-off and pedestrian areas, a single main entrance managed by trained security staff, and a layout that allows parents and visitors to navigate confidently without an escort.

The grounds serve four divisions, each with dedicated wings, outdoor spaces, and facilities appropriate to the developmental stage of the students who use them. The campus is easily accessible from the major arterial roads that connect the city's international communities.

Learning spaces

Classrooms across all divisions are air-conditioned, equipped with interactive display technology, and arranged to support both whole-class instruction and small-group collaborative work.

The AISJ Innovation Lab features fabrication equipment, coding stations, and a maker-focused layout that reflects our commitment to design-thinking across subject areas.

The library is a genuine intellectual center of the school: not a quiet room for individual reading, but a program-rich space that hosts author visits, research skills instruction, and book clubs for every division. Our librarians are credentialed educators who collaborate with classroom teachers on information literacy goals.

Athletics and the arts

  • Gymnasium and courts

The gymnasium supports basketball, volleyball, and indoor PE programs across all divisions. Separate outdoor courts and a running track are available for physical education and after-school athletics.

  • Performing arts

The performing arts facility includes a stage, lighting rigs, and risered seating used for school productions, assemblies, and community events throughout the year.

Living in Jeddah

  • The city

Jeddah is Saudi Arabia's second-largest city and its commercial gateway on the Red Sea coast. For international families, Jeddah offers a diverse, cosmopolitan environment with a well-established expatriate community, a wide range of housing options in the north of the city, and direct flight connections to major hubs in Europe, Asia, and North America.

  • Culture and the coast

The city's cultural life, from the historic Al-Balad quarter and the Corniche waterfront to world-class restaurants and an active arts scene, provides a genuinely enriching backdrop for a family posting. Jeddah is notably more socially open than the Saudi interior, with a relaxed atmosphere that long-term residents consistently cite as one of the city's strongest draws.

  • Climate and the school year

Weather is warm year-round, with peak heat in July and August. The school year runs from mid-August through mid-June.
