Safeguarding and child protection.

Safeguarding and child protection is a priority for every adult, parent, and scholar within the AISJ community. AISJ connects child protection to community education, safe recruitment, employee training, and clear reporting practices.

Raise a concern

Contact the school office for safeguarding concerns.

The office can route safeguarding and child protection questions or concerns to the appropriate school leader.

Families and staff can request the current AISJ Child Safeguarding and Protection Handbook from the school office.

Our commitments

  • Educate and inform stakeholders about their right to be safe and how the community can foster that respect.

  • Use safe and compliant recruitment and hiring methods consistent with child protection policies.

  • Audit, train, review, and maintain safe practices around personal responsibility and reporting structures with employees.

  • Uphold investigative and reporting practices when child protection concerns are raised.
