Elementary School

AISJ’s elementary school program is grounded in a commitment to developing well-rounded, globally aware individuals through a balanced and rigorous educational experience. Our program is designed to support the Whole Child, addressing each scholar’s academic, social, and emotional growth within a collaborative, inclusive learning community.

We prioritize meaningful, relevant learning by integrating an inquiry-based approach that engages scholars as active participants in their own learning journey. Scholars are encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and make connections across subjects, building both academic and real-world skills. Following AERO and NGSS standards, our curriculum provides a solid framework that promotes critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and integrated knowledge across disciplines. Our educators celebrate and embrace each child’s individuality, adapting instruction to accommodate diverse backgrounds, interests, and abilities while fostering a culture of cross-cultural understanding and respect.

Through encouraging exploration and cultivating curiosity, our elementary scholars develop the skills and mindset to become independent, thoughtful, and contributing members of our school and the broader community. Scholars benefit from a range of specialized experiences, including STEAM, art, music, physical education, and library programs, enriching their education and cultivating a well-rounded approach to learning and discovery.
