AP Research
Cyber Security
FUNDAMENTALS of CYBERSECURITYThis comprehensive cybersecurity course is designed for students with an interest in the cybersecurity field. It is the first course in the cybersecurity pathway and will prepare students for an advanced cybersecurity course and/or cybersecurity certification(s).
AP Research
AP Research allows students to deeply explore an academic topic, problem, or issue of individual interest. Through this exploration, students design, plan, and conduct a year-long research-based investigation to address a research question.
AP Seminar
AP Seminar is a foundational course that engages students in cross-curricular conversations that explore the complexities of academic and real-world topics and issues by analyzing divergent perspectives. Using an inquiry framework, students practice reading and analyzing articles, research studies, and foundational literary and philosophical texts; listening to and viewing speeches, broadcasts, and personal accounts; and experiencing artistic works and performances.
Robotics and AutoCAD
This STEM based class is an in-depth investigation of building and programming robots using the VEX Robotics System. Students will learn construction and programming with the VEX system’s motors, touch, light and ultrasonic sensors. Additionally, the course will cover most 2D AutoCAD commands with instruction in the basic use of AutoCAD, a drafting software program.
