The mission of the AISJ School Counseling Program is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program that addresses the academic, career, and personal/social development of every scholar. With the collaborative effort of school personnel, families, and community resources, our counseling program will provide every scholar opportunities to become productive citizens of a global society.

Comprehensive school counseling programs are integral to the school’s educational environment and partner with other academic and behavioral initiatives to effect positive changes in student achievement and behavior. Professional school counselors at AISJ plan the comprehensive school counseling program and facilitate its delivery in collaboration with school administrators, other professional educators, and community members to produce measurable results. Our school counselors are members of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) and serve as leaders, advocates, and collaborators working to recognize and remove systemic barriers to scholar success.
